I have a quick stopover in Tokyo on my way to Australia and land late at TYO. Will I need to take a taxi into the city, or are other options available at that hour?

When we visited Tokyo, arriving via the TYO airport area was straightforward, though late-night transit schedules and taxi requirements depend on your exact terminal and arrival time. If you head into the city during your stopover to see sights like Tokyo Tower, Akihabara, Odaiba, or the Imperial Palace, planning ahead is helpful. Visiting between March and May or October and November offers the best seasonal conditions if you have time to explore before your flight.
