I'm squeezing a quick one-day stop in Amsterdam into a long weekend trip. With so little time, which main spots should I prioritize?

When we visited Amsterdam, picking just a few key sights worked best for a tight schedule. Dam Square and De Wallen are classic places to include. If you want to focus on culture and music, consider the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, or the Concertgebouw. The Defence Line of Amsterdam is another top sight in the area. Squeezing everything in is tough, so choosing two or three of these will make your short visit much more enjoyable.
