For scenic photography around Rodrigues Island and Port Mathurin, natural viewpoints and outer islets offer standout settings. Key spots include Mount Limon and Mount Malartic for elevated landscapes, along with Hermitage Island and Cat Island offshore. St. Gabriel Cathedral is another prominent landmark for architectural shots. Visiting during the optimal June to November season brings average temperatures between 21.9°C and 24.3°C, offering steady daytime conditions for taking photos.
