I'm arriving early and a bit worried about rough weather on day one. What are good options to check out on a first morning in the city?

For an early start depending on conditions, top indoor and sheltered sights in Tunis include the Bardo National Museum, the Cathedral of St. Vincent de Paul, and historic landmarks like the Al-Zaytuna Mosque and Hammouda Pacha Mosque inside the Medina of Tunis. If the weather clears, the Lake of Tunis is also a key outdoor sight. Weather varies, with monthly averages from 11.4°C in January to 28.8°C in July, while March to May and October to December are generally the best travel seasons.
