barcelona stopover: ideas for a second visit

Stopping over in Barcelona on my way to Italy. What would you do differently on a second visit to avoid the usual first-timer spots?

During our visit, we found that focusing on different landmarks gives a fresh perspective. If you want to move beyond Sagrada Familia and Park Güell on a BCN stopover, consider heading to the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia, Palau de la Música Catalana, or Torre Glòries instead. Plaça de Catalunya is another key central sight. If you are timing your trip, March and May to June are the best seasons, with average temperatures reaching 12.1°C in March and 17.9°C to 22.3°C in May and June.
