Had a quick layover at TGU en route to Panama last year. Passing through again—what should I do differently to see some sights this time?

For a stopover out of TGU airport, heading into the city offers several notable landmarks to explore. Key attractions include the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel, the National Art Gallery of Honduras, and the Presidential Palace. You can also visit the Basilica of Suyapa or the Tegucigalpa Honduras Temple. If your timing aligns with the best travel season between December and April, average monthly temperatures typically range from about 19.8°C to 24.2°C.
