The prime window to plan a trip to Douala is between December and February, which is the city's designated best season. During these months, average monthly temperatures sit around 27.0°C in December, 27.1°C in January, and 27.8°C in February. This period is also well suited for taking in central sights like Doual'art, the Palace of the Kings Bell, the Cathedral of St Peter and St Paul, the Bessengue Footbridge, and the Wouri River across to Bonaberi.
