I'm planning a trip to Funafuti on a tight budget. Is 2 nights enough time to look around, or should I really stay longer?

Two nights in Funafuti can give you a quick glimpse after arriving at FUN airport, but it offers very limited time if you want to visit spots across the atoll like Amatuku Island, Vasafua, Tefuka Island, Fuafatu Island, Fatato Island, and Mulitefala Island. A short stop works for a basic overview, especially during May or September when conditions are ideal with temperatures steady around 28C.
