Is Hallgrimskirkja actually worth visiting or just an overhyped tourist trap? My friend walks pretty slowly so we have to choose our stops carefully.

Hallgrimskirkja is consistently listed as one of Reykjavik's top sights alongside Tjornin, the National Museum of Iceland, the Icelandic Phallological Museum, Videy Island, and the Imagine Peace Tower. Rather than a trap, it remains a primary destination in the city. For planning your days, July and August are the warmest months with average temperatures reaching 10.7C and 10.8C, compared to winter lows around -1C in December.
