I'm visiting during the low season to avoid crowds and want to see the key sights in one day. What is a sensible order to visit them?

For a full one-day itinerary, you can start with Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changu Narayan Temple, then continue to the Kailashnath Mahadev Statue. From there, you can connect to Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square, and Narayanhiti Palace. Visiting outside the popular February to April and October to December periods means seeing these top sights with lighter crowds throughout the day.
