Question Lima City Info

how walkable is central lima between the main sights?

Guest 3 weeks ago 6 views

I'm planning a slow trip to Lima and prefer wandering on foot rather than rushing around. Are key sights close enough to explore walking?

Several central landmarks sit directly together, making part of your itinerary easy to take slowly on foot. Plaza Mayor, the Lima Cathedral, and the Government Palace of Peru are in the same immediate area. However, other major sights like the Larco Museum, Puruchuco, and Chosica are spread further out across the region. If you plan on walking, temperatures remain fairly mild year-round, ranging from 16.0°C to 22.7°C, with July through December being the best season to visit.
