Holy Trinity Cathedral of the Holy Trinity
This site is the highest-ranking cathedral of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church in Addis Ababa. It was constructed to commemorate the victory over Italian occupation and serves as a historical landmark. Visitors go here to observe Ethiopian Orthodox architecture and to see the burial site of Emperor Haile Selassie and other prominent national figures.
Getting There
The cathedral is located within the city limits of Addis Ababa. From the city centre, it is accessible via taxi or ride-sharing services. Depending on traffic conditions, the journey typically takes between 15 and 30 minutes.
