Sharjah National Park

This is the largest park in Sharjah, covering approximately 630,000 square meters of green space. Travelers visit this location for outdoor walking, resting in a natural environment, and escaping the urban density of the surrounding cities.

Getting There

The park is located on the outskirts of the city. From the center of Sharjah or nearby Ajman, the most efficient way to reach the site is by taxi or rental car. Depending on traffic conditions, the drive typically takes 15 to 25 minutes.

Duration of Visit

Depending on your activity level, allow between 2 and 4 hours. This provides enough time to walk through the landscaped areas and utilize the resting spaces without rushing.

When to Visit

The park is best visited during the winter months, from November to March, when temperatures are mild enough for outdoor activity. During the summer, extreme heat makes daytime visits impractical. Early mornings and late afternoons are the most comfortable times of day. The grounds can become crowded during weekends and public holidays when local families gather.

Combining with Other Sites

Because of its location, you can combine a visit here with other cultural landmarks in the region. Nearby options include:

  • Russian Orthodox Church, Sharjah (13.9km)
  • St. Michael's Catholic Church (14km)
  • Ajman Museum (14.4km)
  • Al Noor Mosque (15.2km)
