Overview

This site at Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral commemorates the victims of the April 2017 Palm Sunday bombing. Visitors come to pay respects and gain insight into the history and experiences of Egypt's Coptic Christian minority.

The site is in central Alexandria, roughly a 5-minute walk from Mahatet El Raml square. From other parts of the city center, a taxi or rideshare takes about 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic.
