Abay Opera House
Overview
The Abay Opera House is a performance venue in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Originating as a music studio in 1933 and established as a full theater in 1934, it presents classical opera and ballet repertoire. Visitors go to attend live staged productions or to view the classical architecture and surrounding grounds.
