Wereldmuseum Amsterdam is an ethnographic museum focused on global cultures and everyday human life across different regions of the world. Housed in a historic building in the Oost district, the collection displays objects, textiles, and art exploring cultural traditions and historical global connections.
Getting There
From Amsterdam Centraal or Dam Square, take a direct tram to the Alexanderplein stop just outside the entrance. The journey takes around 15 to 20 minutes. Walking from the central canal belt takes roughly 25 minutes.

Allow roughly 1.5 to 2 hours to view the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions.
When to Visit
