Ankara Aviation Museum
Overview
The Ankara Aviation Museum is a military exhibition facility operated by the Turkish Air Force in the Etimesgut district. It houses an array of retired combat aircraft, transport planes, helicopters, and anti-aircraft systems. Visitors go to examine preserved military airframes and aeronautical equipment up close.

Located about 18 kilometres west of central Ankara, the site is accessible by road and public transit. Commuter rail (Başkentray) and city buses connect central stations to Etimesgut. Driving or taking a taxi from the city centre typically takes 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
