Güvenpark
Güvenpark
Located in the heart of Ankara, this public park was established as part of a 1930s urban development project. Visitors go here for a walk through the greenery and to see the Security Monument, which serves as the park's central landmark and symbol.
Getting There
The park is situated in the central business district. Since it is located directly adjacent to Kızılay Meydanı, it is accessible within a few minutes' walk from the city's main transport hub and metro stations.
Duration of Visit
Depending on your pace, allow 30 to 60 minutes to walk through the grounds and view the monument.
When to Visit
The park is open to the public throughout the year. It is most crowded during weekday lunch hours and weekends when local residents and commuters gather. To avoid the largest crowds, visit during early morning hours.
