What to Expect
Lara is a coastal district situated east of Antalya along the Mediterranean Sea. Travelers visit primarily for its sandy shoreline and to view the cluster of upscale resort hotels uniquely designed after famous landmarks from around the world.
Getting There
From central Antalya, local public buses and taxis head east toward the coast. The trip generally takes between 30 and 45 minutes depending on traffic. The area is also situated just south of Antalya Airport (AYT).
Time to Spend
Allow two to three hours for a brief stroll and sightseeing along the hotel strip, or half a day if planning to spend time by the water.
When to Go
Spring and autumn provide warm temperatures and manageable conditions. The summer months of July and August bring heavy crowds and intense daytime heat. Early mornings and late afternoons are best for walking outdoors.

- Düden River (7.3km)
- Atatürk's House Museum (10km)
