They win on flexibility and local experience, allowing passengers to navigate narrow streets where cars struggle.

For longer distances, such as visiting the nearby lakes or outskirts of the Vakinankaratra district, private taxis or hired 4x4 vehicles are necessary. These are the only viable options for transporting heavy luggage or traveling outside the urban core.

From Ivato Airport (TNR) to Antsirabe

Since Ivato Airport is located in Antsiranana/Antananarivo, reaching Antsirabe requires a multi-hour journey across the highlands.
