Palacio de López
Overview
The Palacio de López is a neoclassical building in Asunción that serves as the workplace and government seat of Paraguay's president. While not a residential palace, it functions as the center of national politics. Travellers visit to view its 19th-century architecture and exterior grounds beside the bay.

Situated in the historic downtown area, the palace is reachable on foot from the city centre in roughly 10 to 15 minutes. Taxis and rideshares can drop passengers near the perimeter on Calle El Paraguayo Independiente.
