Monastery of Pedralbes
Overview
The Monastery of Pedralbes is a former Gothic convent in Barcelona that now operates as a museum. The site features a permanent collection of religious art, preserved monastic quarters, and special exhibitions. Visitors go to explore the large Catalan Gothic cloister and see the Chapel of Saint Michael, which was restored in 2018.
Getting There
From central Barcelona, transit takes roughly 30 to 40 minutes. Take the FGC train (Line L6) to Reina Elisenda station, followed by a 10-minute walk. Urban buses also connect to the area.
