About Batumi Bay
Batumi Bay is a natural coastal bay situated on the Black Sea in Georgia's Adjara region. Travelers visit to observe maritime traffic, view the surrounding coastline, and walk along the seaside promenade.
Getting There
The bay sits adjacent to central Batumi. Reaching the waterfront from the city center takes roughly 10 to 20 minutes on foot, or around 5 to 10 minutes by taxi or local bus.
Recommended Visit Duration
Allow between 45 minutes and 1.5 hours. This allows sufficient time to stroll along the water, sit by the shore, and view passing boats.
When to Visit
Late afternoon and early evening offer cooler air and good light across the sea. Summer is the warmest season but brings large crowds to the coast. Visiting in spring or autumn provides milder temperatures and a quieter environment.
