Located in the Tell Atlas range near Cap Carbon, this peak is a destination for trekking and nature observation. Visitors go here to hike through the landscape and view the Mediterranean coast from an elevated vantage point.

Getting There

The peak is situated northwest of Béjaïa city centre. Access typically requires a vehicle to reach the Cap Carbon area, followed by a hike to the summit. The drive from the centre takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic.

Time Allocation of Time

Visitors should allow between 3 and 5 hours for the experience. This includes the ascent, time spent at the summit, and the return descent.

When to Visit

The best seasons for trekking are spring and autumn when temperatures are moderate. It is advisable to start the hike early in the morning to avoid the midday heat. The area can become crowded during local holiday periods and summer weekends.
