About the Cathedral

St. John's Cathedral is the seat of the Anglican Diocese of Belize and is regarded as the oldest Anglican church in Central America. Built with a distinctive brick exterior and historic interior woodwork, it serves as an important landmark for travellers interested in colonial history and regional religious heritage.

Getting There

Located in the southern area of downtown Belize City, the site is easily reachable on foot or by road. Walking from the commercial city centre takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes, while a short taxi ride takes less than 5 minutes depending on traffic.
