Altes Museum

Located on Museum Island, this building is a public museum designed by architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel in the 1820s. Visitors go here to view classical antiquities and to see the Neoclassical architecture of the structure itself, which is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
