Neue Nationalgalerie
Overview
The Neue Nationalgalerie is a modern art museum within Berlin's National Museums network. Opened in 1968, the building was designed by architect Mies van der Rohe as a minimalist steel-and-glass structure. Travellers visit to see 20th-century art collections and to view the open, column-free interior architecture.
Getting There
From central Berlin, take the U-Bahn, S-Bahn, or local bus toward Potsdamer Platz. The journey from central transit hubs such as Alexanderplatz or Hauptbahnhof takes approximately 15 to 25 minutes, followed by a short walk.
