Garavice Memorial Park
Overview
Garavice Memorial Park is a World War II commemorative site located on a hill just outside Bihać. It honors victims who lost their lives during the war and provides an open, reflective setting. Travellers visit to view the historical stone monuments and learn about the region's wartime history.
Getting There
The park is situated roughly 2.5 kilometres northwest of central Bihać. Reaching the site by car or taxi from the city centre takes about 5 to 10 minutes. Walking from the centre takes roughly 30 to 40 minutes along local roads.

Allow 30 to 45 minutes on site. This provides sufficient time to walk along the footpaths, observe the monuments, and take in the surrounding landscape.
When to Visit
Visit during daylight hours, as the open grounds do not have evening lighting. Spring through autumn offers the most comfortable weather for walking across the grass. The location is generally quiet and rarely sees large crowds.
