St. Elmo Bridge
This steel arch footbridge connects Fort St. Elmo in Valletta to the Grand Harbour breakwater. Visitors use the bridge to walk over the water and view the harbor, the surrounding fortifications, and the maritime traffic entering and leaving the port.
Getting There
The bridge is located at the tip of the Valletta peninsula. From the city centre, it is accessible via a walk toward the waterfront. Depending on your starting point in Valletta, the walk typically takes 10 to 15 minutes.
