Christ the King Statue
This 26-meter statue of Christ is located on the summit of Cerro de los Cristales, a hill west of Cali. Visitors go here to see the monument and to view the city layout from the elevation of the hill. The area is named after the crystals found in the local geology.
Getting There
The statue is accessible from the city centre via taxi or ride-sharing services. The trip typically takes 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Duration of Visit
Allow approximately 1 to 2 hours to ascend the hill, view the statue, and observe the city from the summit.
When to Visit
Visiting in the early morning or late afternoon is recommended to avoid the midday heat. The site can become crowded on weekends and public holidays.
