Overview
Mouille Point is a coastal residential suburb situated along the Atlantic shoreline. Visitors come to walk, run, or cycle along the paved oceanfront promenade, which passes contemporary apartment buildings, seaside benches, and cafes along Beach Road.
Getting There
Located roughly 4 kilometres from central Cape Town, the suburb takes about 10 to 15 minutes to reach by car or ride-hailing service. Local MyCiTi buses also connect the city centre directly to the area.

Plan for 1 to 2 hours to walk the oceanfront path and stop at a cafe along the main road.
When to Visit
Mornings offer cooler temperatures and calmer air, while late afternoons are popular for sunset walks. Summer can bring strong southeasterly winds, and rough seas occasionally blow spray onto the paved path. The promenade gets crowded on clear evenings and weekends.
