About the Memorial

The Eternity Memorial Complex is a public memorial park in Chișinău built to honor Soviet soldiers who died during the Second Jassy-Kishinev Offensive in World War II. Travellers visit to see the central stylized pyramid monument, observe the eternal flame, and walk through the grounds while reflecting on regional wartime history.

Getting There

Located just south of central Chișinău, the site is straightforward to reach. Walking from the city centre takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes. A local bus, trolleybus, or taxi ride from downtown takes roughly 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic.

Plan to spend around 30 to 45 minutes at the park. This allows enough time to view the main monument, read the commemorative markers, and walk the central plaza.

Daylight hours provide the best visibility for viewing the architectural elements and walking the pathways. The area is generally calm and uncrowded on ordinary days, though larger crowds gather during national commemorative events such as Victory Day in May.
