Yarumela Archaeological Site

Yarumela is an archaeological site located in Comayagua, Honduras. It was settled by the ancestors of the Lenca people as early as 1000 BC and later served as a trading hub for valuable goods during the Late Preclassic period. Visitors go here to see the remains of ancient structures and learn about the early civilizations of the region.

The site is located a short distance from the center of Comayagua. Travelers typically reach the ruins via taxi or rental car. The drive from the city center takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
