Genoese Lighthouse
Genoese Lighthouse
The Genoese Lighthouse is a historic maritime landmark located on the waterfront of Constanța. Visitors go here to view the structure's architecture and observe the surrounding coastline. The site is situated near several public monuments, including a bust of the poet Mihai Eminescu, and is within walking distance of the Constanța Casino.
Getting There
The lighthouse is located within the city's coastal area. From the city centre, it is accessible via a short walk or a brief taxi ride, typically taking less than 10 minutes depending on the starting point.
Duration of Visit
Most visitors spend between 30 and 60 minutes at the site, as it is primarily an outdoor landmark meant for viewing and photography.
When to Visit
The area is best visited during the day for clear visibility of the coast. Like most waterfront attractions, it can get crowded during the summer tourist season. Visiting during the shoulder seasons or on weekdays generally offers a quieter experience.
