Located in the San Blas district on Plaza Nazarenas, this museum houses a permanent collection of approximately 450 pre-Columbian artifacts from various regions of Peru. The pieces are on loan from the Larco Museum in Lima. Visitors go here to see a curated selection of ancient ceramics, textiles, and metalwork that represent the diverse cultures existing in Peru before the Spanish conquest.

The museum is situated within the historic center of Cusco. From the Plaza de Armas, it is a short walk of approximately 5 to 10 minutes heading toward the San Blas neighborhood.
