Al Qusais
Al Qusais
Al Qusais is a district located in the eastern part of Dubai, bordering the emirate of Sharjah. It is a mixed-use area characterized by residential neighborhoods and several industrial zones. Travelers typically visit this area for specific commercial needs, industrial services, or to access local markets and shops that serve the resident population.
Getting There
The district is located east of the Deira area. From Dubai city centre, it is most accessible by taxi or the Dubai Metro. Depending on the starting point and traffic conditions, the journey generally takes between 20 and 40 minutes.
Duration of Visit
Because this is a functional residential and industrial district rather than a concentrated tourist site, the time spent here depends on your specific purpose. A brief visit for shopping or business typically requires 2 to 4 hours.
When to Visit
The area is best visited during the cooler months from November to March to avoid extreme heat. As it contains industrial zones and residential hubs, traffic can become heavy during morning and evening rush hours. It does not experience the same seasonal tourist crowds as the city's primary landmarks.
Nearby Areas
You can combine a visit here with other nearby districts:
- Al Twar (1.1km)
- Dubai City Tower (4.1km)
- Muhaisnah (5.9km)
- Al Rashidiya (6km)
