Botanical Garden Dushanbe
Located north of the capital, this is the largest botanical garden in Tajikistan. It houses over 2,000 plant species, making it a primary destination for those interested in botany and regional flora.
Getting There
The garden is situated on the northern edge of the city. From Dushanbe city centre, the most common way to reach the site is via taxi or ride-sharing apps. The trip typically takes 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Visit Duration
Depending on your interest in the various plant collections, allow approximately 2 to 3 hours to walk through the grounds and explore the different sections.
When to Visit
The best time to visit is during the spring and early summer when the plant life is most active. Morning visits are recommended to avoid the midday heat. The garden does not typically experience extreme crowding, though it may be busier during local public holidays.
