Mount Tinguelin
Located north of Garoua, Mount Tinguelin is a geological formation characterized by a chain of flat sandstone peaks. Visitors go here to hike the ridge for views of the surrounding plains and to see the remains of old village sites formerly inhabited by the Fali people.

The site is situated outside the city center of Garoua. Access is typically via local transport or hired vehicle. Depending on the specific starting point in the city and road conditions, the drive generally takes between 30 to 60 minutes.
