Located in downtown Guatemala City, this zoo is a historic facility established in 1924. It features a variety of animals organized into three distinct geographical zones: Asian, American, and African. Travelers visit this site to see wildlife within a large green space in the middle of the urban environment.

The zoo is situated in the central area of the city. From the city center, it is accessible via taxi or ride-sharing services. Depending on traffic conditions, the trip typically takes between 15 and 30 minutes.
