• Bajaj: Outside the ancient walls, three-wheeled bajajs dominate local transit. Hail them for shared hops along main roads or hire them privately to travel between city gates.
• Shared Minibuses: Minibuses connect outer junctions and regional stations, practical for reaching surrounding towns rather than short city trips.

Fares and Ticketing

Harar has no transit passes, travel cards, or app bookings. All transport is cash-only in local currency. Carry small notes, as drivers rarely have change. Agree on private bajaj fares before boarding.
