Temppeliaukio Church

Located in the Töölö district of Helsinki, this Lutheran church is carved directly into solid rock. Visitors go here to see the integration of natural terrain and architecture, as the building uses the natural bedrock for its walls and is topped by a copper dome that allows natural light into the sanctuary.
