Located in District 4 where the Saigon River meets the Ben Nghe Canal, this building served as Saigon's commercial port in the early 1860s. It currently functions as a branch of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, featuring exhibits that document the life and history of Ho Chi Minh.

The site is situated just across the canal from District 1. From the city centre, it is accessible via a short taxi or ride-share trip, typically taking 5 to 10 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
