Overview

Teen Talwar is a monument located in the Clifton area of Karachi. The structure consists of three white marble swords, each inscribed with the national mottos: Unity, Faith, and Discipline. Travelers visit to see the civic landmark and reflect on its historical symbolism.

The landmark is situated at a major roundabout in Clifton. From central Karachi, taking a taxi or ride-hailing car typically takes 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

Plan for a visit of 15 to 30 minutes. Since the monument stands within a traffic island, viewing the inscriptions and taking photographs requires only a brief stop.

When to Visit

Late afternoon and evening are practical times to visit, as the monument is illuminated after sunset. Traffic around the junction is heavy during weekday commute hours, so off-peak hours offer a calmer experience. The cooler months from November to February provide the most comfortable weather for outdoor visits.
