Primary Modes of Transport

Karaganda relies on a combination of a structured bus network and a highly flexible ride-hailing ecosystem.

• Public Buses: Best for budget-conscious travelers and those moving between major residential districts and the city center. They cover the main arteries but can be crowded during peak hours.
• Ride-Hailing Apps: Yandex Go is the dominant service. It is the most efficient choice for direct point-to-point travel, especially when carrying luggage or traveling after dark.
