The Gunt River is a river in southern Tajikistan that originates from Lake Yashilkul on a plateau over 3,700 meters above sea level. Travelers visit this location primarily to observe the confluence where the Gunt meets the Panj River in Khorog, where the merging of the two water bodies creates a distinct visual contrast in the landscape.
