Klaipeda Sculpture Park
Klaipeda Sculpture Park
Located in downtown Klaipėda, this open-air gallery features 116 modern sculptures created by local artists between 1977 and 1991. Visitors walk through the park to view these modern works, each of which is equipped with a QR code that provides detailed information about the piece.
Getting There
The park is situated within the city centre, making it accessible by foot from most central hotels and landmarks. Depending on your starting point in the downtown area, it typically takes only a few minutes to reach.
Duration of Visit
Depending on whether you choose to scan the QR codes for every artwork or simply stroll through the grounds, allow between 1 and 2 hours to explore the collection.
When to Visit
The park is an outdoor space, so visits are most comfortable during the spring, summer, and autumn. Because it is an open public area, it does not experience the same restrictive crowding as indoor museums, though it is most active during daylight hours.
