Overview

Brutti Palace is an 18th-century palace located north of Brolo Square in the coastal city of Koper, Slovenia. The building currently houses the city's central library. Travellers visit to see its preserved historic exterior and to observe a former noble residence adapted into a modern civic space.

Getting There

The site is situated directly in Koper's pedestrian old town. From Tito Square in the city centre, it is a straightforward walk of roughly 100 metres, taking about one to two minutes on foot.

Allow around 15 to 30 minutes for a visit. This provides adequate time to view the facade from Brolo Square and step inside the accessible public areas of the library.

Visit during daylight hours for the best visibility of the exterior architecture. As a functional municipal library rather than a dedicated tourist venue, it does not experience large tourist crowds.
