Atkinson Clock Tower
Overview
The Atkinson Clock Tower is the oldest standing structure in Kota Kinabalu. Positioned along the foot of Signal Hill, it serves as a historical landmark and offers an elevated viewpoint overlooking parts of the Sabah state capital.

Located near the city centre, the site is accessible on foot within a 5 to 10-minute walk from most central downtown streets. The approach requires a short walk uphill. Taxis and ride-hailing vehicles take roughly 3 to 5 minutes from central locations.

Allow 15 to 30 minutes for a visit. The perimeter is small, making it a quick stop to examine the exterior architecture and view the city from the hillside.
