Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh is a dense residential and commercial district in the Farwaniya Governorate, situated adjacent to Kuwait International Airport. As one of the country's oldest urban areas, it is home to a sizable migrant population primarily from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Travelers visit to observe its energetic street scene, browse everyday market stalls selling clothing and spices, and sample authentic South Asian food.
Getting There
The district is located south of Kuwait City centre. The most practical way to reach the area is by taxi or ride-hailing service, which takes roughly 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. Public bus lines connecting the downtown area to the airport corridor also serve the neighborhood.
