Shaheed Park
Shaheed Park
Shaheed Park is the largest urban park in Kuwait City. It features extensive walking paths and one of the world's largest rooftop green spaces, providing a landscaped environment for walking and outdoor relaxation within the city.
Getting There
The park is located centrally within Kuwait City. From the city center, it is accessible via taxi or ride-sharing services. Depending on traffic conditions, the trip typically takes between 5 to 15 minutes.
Duration of Visit
Visitors should allow approximately 2 to 4 hours to explore the grounds, walk the rooftop areas, and navigate the various landscaped sections.
When to Visit
Due to the regional climate, visiting during the cooler months from November to March is recommended. During the summer, daytime temperatures are extreme, making early morning or late evening the only viable times for outdoor activity. The park can become crowded during weekends and public holidays when local families gather.
